So a lot has changed over the past few months, and today was another turning point.
The biopsy results came back pretty bad, but that was sorted (hopefully) today. I have just returned home from the hospital after having a procedure done to remove all abnormal cells in the cervix.
It isn’t pleasant and I am in some discomfort, but in the long run, I can be thankful this was sorted as early on as it was.
I can now say that after fighting off the C word, that I am in fact a badass.
I have since decided that a life of travel is an amazing thing, but it isn’t sustainable forever. Because of this, I have applied for a role in the air force. This will still allow for some travel, and it will also mean I have some sort of financial stability.
The fitness test part isnt going to be particularly fun, especially as I am the first to admit that if it involves running – I am not interested. In saying that, 3 weeks at the gym and I have already achieved a “passing” result. 6 more to go, and I will be able to improve at least that much again.
Stay tuned for details.
